KUCH PANNE has 3 short stories, the synopsis of two plays are:
Saag meat : Saag-Meat is a story written by an eminent writer Bhisham Sahni, This story talks about a relationship between two classes of our Society. Jagga, the servant who works for a Punjabi family and who is the most loyal servant anyone can have, but an undesirable incident forces jagga to take away his own life and all this is narrated by sumitra the protagonist who unfolds the truth of jagga’s death in a humorous way.
Gulli Danda : “Gulli-danda” by Munshi Premchand tells the story of two boys — a boy from a well-to-do family, who is the narrator of the story, and Gaya, a poor boy. Both of them love to play “gulli-danda”. Gaya is the champion tip-cat player among the boys.When the engineer returns to the same village where he spent his early time, he feels that the smell of the sand, the voices of the gulli danda team, the trashy village, every thing seems to have lost its charm. He knows only one person, Gaya, the champion of their gulli danda club. He meets him and plays the gulli danda game with him. In the game with the engineer, the champion seems to have lost his hold on this game. But later in the tournament he displays his championship. The engineer feels that Gaya didn’t play, he allowed him to play. Which makes him realise that he can get respect & honour from Gaya but not friendship, as he has became an officer.
